Folk - Folk music includes both traditional music and contemporary folk music. The term originated in the 19th century. It has become increasingly common to refer to this type of music as traditional music. Starting in the middle of the 20th century a new form of popular folk music evolved from traditional music. From doing this research on different genres of music I have been swayed more towards styles of musics such as indie, folk and rock and will therefore be trying to find an artist which falls under one (or more) of these genres of music and will therefore do more music on music videos based around these styles I have picked. This has helped me as I now am able to start narrowing down my search for an artist and a song and I am able to start on getting ideas for my own music video.
